About Us

Miles and Jeffrey

Miles Dealy (L) Jeffrey Smith (R)

Welcome. We want everyone to feel welcome here especially friends of Bill W & Jimmy K (12-step groups).

This Website is dedicated to Miles Dealy. Miles left a legacy of love and service to others. He has easily helped hundreds of men in recovery and given up countless hours of his time.  He would remind us all to simply do the same.

Miles passed away, Saturday, August 21st, 2010. Miles exemplified gratitude. He would stress that gratitude is love in action and action changes mood. “Move a muscle, change a feeling.” And he was right.

Carole Cross

Carole CrossI am a child of an alcoholic Father who committed suicide two weeks before I graduated high school and 1 month before I was to be married.  Some may think that is “horrible” but believe it or not, this sent me on the path so self-discovery, reclaiming my self-worth, and learning that gratitude and thanksgiving was the way out of the legacy of my father’s pain. My mother’s faith was fundamentalist Christian and filtered through my Grandmother’s eyes.  Her vision of God was strict and non-loving.  I wanted to find a God who loved me.  I found, through these 60+ plus years on this planet, that indeed, God loves me, that indeed I can be grateful and that indeed, we all need that crack of light in our belief system where we can accept love and that “all these things shall be added unto you”, as the song says.
I learned skills in web design, programming, SEO, local marketing and online presence for small businesses, and have since, helped many people share their gifts with the world through online relationships.  I’m honored to be part of the Attitude of Gratitude team because we all need LOVE and this is one place where we freely share the unconditional love we all crave.  It’s here at Attitude of Gratitude and we are blessed to share this great LOVE with you.

Pictured here with his holiness Chetsang Rinpoche who visited nearby Indian Shores on the Gulf of Mexico to bless the waters after the huge oil spill. This picture was taken as he visited the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, before he began his prayers. The birds throughout the compound were incredibly attracted to his holiness. As we began the ceremony on the Gulf waters edge there were no birds to be seen. Within 15 minutes, although no food was involved in the prayers, there were over two to three dozen birds of different varieties all bobbing on the water in from of his holiness. At the conclusion of the service, the birds all flew off at the same time.
